The Best Places To Meet Women – The Office

Where are the best places to meet women?  If you are ‘lucky’ enough to work in an office, you’ve got your answer already.

You always hear people saying that you shouldn’t get involved with people at the workplace.  Well, they don’t know what they’re talking about.

It’s true enough if you’re the sort of person who will fall apart due to a break-up that you should probably avoid office romances, but for the rest of us, it’s the perfect place to meet women.

Roughly 1 in 6 married couples meet at work, so it plainly is a good idea.

Why the office is also one the best places to meet women is that women look fantastic in business dress.  And generally, there are a lot of them in the office environment.

So, how to meet these women?

This is the best part.  You probably know at least one woman you’d like to get with already.  And if you’re like the average guy, you haven’t asked her out yet.  Seeing a woman every day gives you the ultimate opportunity to get to know her, ask her out, etc.

You know how you and your buddies check out the babes in the office, and compare notes?  Well, women are worse.  You can bet that most of the women in your workplace have an opinion of you as a mate.  And the opinion you don’t want is…

That you are her friend!

You’ll need to cultivate a slight amount of mystery, but still be friendly.  Cheeky and still respectful.  Interested but not desperate.

Opening a conversation with a woman in your office couldn’t be easier. Think about it. You work for the same company. Ask her what she does, unless you know already. Ask her how her job is, give her an ear to bitch about her boss.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to ask a woman out with whom you work.  A simple, ‘would you like a drink after work?’ will suffice and you’ve got nothing to lose.

Don’t blurt it out from nowhere.  Slip it in during a personal conversation.  People are constantly asking each other what they’re doing this weekend.  Just say, ‘are you doing much this week?  Well why don’t you join me for a drink tomorrow night?’  It’s cake.

And if she says no, take it well.  Laugh it off.  Don’t let it affect your manner towards her.  If she doesn’t like your manner, she will make it clear.  In fact if you take it on the chin and remain positive, without sulking like a little girl or ignoring her, it may well change the way she views you.

A small word of warning - Asking out a subordinate may not be the best idea.  She may feel obliged to go out with you and a gentleman doesn’t coerce a lady in that fashion.

TLDR: Suck it up and ask out lots of women in the workplace, but avoid them if you are in a position of authority over them.
